In 2010, the seventh centre to open under the umbrella of the Bayswater Child Care Association was the Maylands Out of School Care after a request from the Maylands Peninsula Primary School P&C. TeamKids – Bayswater South Primary has 60 approved places, representing approximately 0% of the total count for Team Holiday Pty Ltd. Great Beginnings Bayswater has 87 approved places, representing approximately 44% of the total count for Jacaranda Operations Pty Limited. Our centre is located next to the Colchester Medical Centre & opposite Colchester Nursery.
Our team of 19 culturally diverse educators create an environment where each culture is acknowledged, celebrated and respected. Spread across two levels, our dedicated Nursery and Kinder areas are connected by a central staircase, allowing these differing developmental groups to learn, play, run and explore effortlessly within their own purpose-built spaces. Knox Children and Family Centre (Bayswater) provides centre-based care for up to 138 approved spaces. The orientation process is flexible  to meet a family’s individual needs, though we recommend two to three orientation sessions before the child’s first full day. Bayswater Childcare & Kinder provides centre-based care for up to 45 approved spaces.
Encouraging the children to challenge themselves and initiate their own exploration and experimentation is something we strive to do at Morley OSHC. We offer a rotating seasonal menu, providing breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, and a late snack, all freshly made daily. We cater for all children’s dietary requirement, preferences and cultural requirements, including halal and kosher.

We focus on building secure relationships between children and educators, closely following home routines, and supporting each child in meeting their developmental milestones. I began working in early childhood education in 2013, originally joining Great Beginnings Bayswater as a trainee. In 2026, I returned to Great Beginnings Bayswater as Centre Manager, which has been a meaningful full-circle moment in my career. I am deeply passionate about early childhood education and about supporting children in developing a strong foundation and a lifelong love of learning. Over the years, I have learned that every child learns in different ways, and that creating individualised learning experiences is essential to supporting each child’s growth.

As a parent, I am grateful to have found such a wonderful establishment that truly values the development of young minds. Our Toddler spaces have been thoughtfully designed to support this vibrant stage of rapid growth, curiosity and emerging independence. Utilising flexible indoor and outdoor environments, Educators intentionally set up engaging play experiences that evolve throughout the day, shaped by meaningful routines, sensory play, music and movement. These open-ended experiences invite children to follow their interests, build confidence and develop a strong sense of self as they explore their world safely.
To make an informed choice, parents should approach the process with a thorough understanding of what to look for, and which questions to ask. G8 Education acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands we live, work and play on each day. We promote sustainability through practices like maintaining a vegetable garden, worm farm, and composting, as well as using recycle bins to encourage eco-friendly habits among the children. I began working in early childhood education in 2020 and joined the Bayswater team in 2025. My background includes a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) and a Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education. I started my journey as an Early Childhood Teacher, then stepped into a Curriculum Leader role in 2023, and have been a Centre Manager since September 2024.

Our centre chefs prepare a nutritious menu for your child to sit down and eat. Educators model healthy eating practices, social behaviours and support children’s growing independence with mealtime routines. BCCA honours the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation, the Traditional Custodians of this sacred land on which we learn, work, and play. We respect their Elders, both past and present, and recognise the emerging voices that will lead us forward. We acknowledge their everlasting connection to  the land, waters, and skies.
Our purpose-built day care and kindergarten centre in Bayswater offers innovative early learning programs in a safe and nurturing environment. Our Bayswater child care centre features spacious outdoor environments with two sandpits, a vegetable garden, a climbing fort, a slide, a cubby house, and a bike track. Indoors, we provide quality resources and learning experiences, including interactive whiteboards. Our team of experienced educators and teachers plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals.
As an incorporated association, BCCA is directed and controlled by a Management Committee (Board). The Committee is made up of voting and non-voting members, representing parents, community members, and staff. Families that use BCCA services are encouraged to join the association as members to nominate and elect representatives. Committee members have legal and ethical responsibilities to ensure the association acts lawfully and is resourced and directed towards achieving its community-focused vision and mission. Great Beginnings Bayswater offers long day care and Kindergarten for children aged 6 weeks to school age, conveniently located for families in Bayswater, Bassendean, Embleton and Maylands.
