From 9am to 2pm, your little one will explore, play and engage in meaningful developmental experiences and pre-reading and number concepts. As part of our program, kindergarten hours integrate into your child’s day, ensuring their needs continue beyond 2pm. The program combines hands-on activities with intentional learning experiences designed to nurture curiosity and resilience. Our educators work closely with each child, tailoring support to their strengths and interests. Our Pakenham childcare centre features a bike track, vegetable garden, ample climbing equipment, sandpit, and undercover areas for year-round access. Indoors, we have interactive whiteboards, an inside climbing fort, and open-plan spaces.

Thanks to the in-house chef at our Pakenham child care centre, your child can expect healthy, nutritious, and yummy meals. We offer a rotating seasonal menu, providing breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, and a late snack freshly made daily. Our families provide feedback on our centre menu and we create the menu around their voices.
Created in collaboration with kindergarten and local primary school teachers, the program supports each child’s social, emotional and early literacy development. Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten operates in a long daycare setting and has four main education programs, tailored to each stage of early development. At Aspire, our quality education programs are designed to guide children’s learning and development by encouraging them to explore, discover and connect with others. At Story House Early Learning, we believe strong communication with families is key to creating a nurturing and connected learning environment.
While we understand that this can be inconvenient, Community Kids is committed to maintaining a healthy environment and reducing the risk of infection for all children. Our Family Support Team can also help you find more G8 early learning centres near you, with the same offerings at the Community Kids centre you are interested in that have immediate availability. If you have an infant, we spend one-on-one time with them to establish a connection. We use songs, games, and conversations to strengthen relationships and build language skills. Our centre promotes sustainability through various initiatives, including recycling, maintaining worm gardens, and cultivating a large, expansive vegetable garden.

At Tarneit Central Kindergarten, we are committed to delivering high-quality early learning and continuously improving our practice. Pico Early Learning Centre and Kindergarten is a privately owned and operated long day and kindergarten located in the leafy surrounds of Pakenham. Your child will be able to freely explore our outdoor play areas and build on their own interests in both self-directed play and in groups.
Our centre is next door to Edenbrook Secondary College and John Henry Primary school where we also run an Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) service. Through sustainable practices and early environmental education, we instill a conscious culture of caring for the environment from a young age.
