Hannah joined Coleg y Cymoedd in 2021 and became Director of People and Culture in January 2023, where she leads the college’s people strategy, EDI and organisational development. Focus on promoting, understanding and inclusion of neurodivergent individuals who are facing mental health challenges, and the need for early involvement and consistent support. These assessments provide essential clarity around a young person or adult’s needs, supporting placement decisions, education planning, risk management, and access to appropriate services. We offer teaching in the context of neurodiversity to fellow healthcare professionals, and other organisations wanting to up-skill in this area. We are also uniquely skilled Occupational Health Solutions in providing supervision on a one-to-one basis, or in a group format, to help those working with people with neurodevelopmental diagnoses.
The Autism Service has been delivering autism and ADHD assessments for both children and adults since 2019. The IASs are there to support  professionals to gain knowledge, skills and experience in working with autistic people. If you are not eligible for a national funding scheme, you may still be able to ask for support from your school, college, employer or any Local Authority, Social Care, NHS or Mental Health services that you are being supported by. There may also be charities local to you that offer grants or support to find funding. You may be able to get support identifying local charities from Citizen’s Advice or Disability Grants.

Nathan is the Creative Director of social enterprise Neuro Expression, which aims to make the  creative sectors more neurodiverse and disability friendly. Neuro Expression helps organisations to make reasonable adjustments, design accessible spaces and materials, and create inclusive opportunities for people of all abilities to engage with the arts. Nathan is a Trainer and Speaker on neurodivergence, has a background in social work and visual artistry, and uses his lived experience to help others thrive in work and education. Jennifer is the founder of ThinkDIF, a coaching and consultancy service supporting organisations to become more neuroinclusive. Prior to this, she worked in the technology sector as an award-winning senior HR professional.
These key aims will beachieved by delivering a series of ‘We Will’ commitments that the Council andits partners have made and which are reflected throughout the strategy. Work isalready underway on some of these commitments while a wide range of additionalcommitments will be taken forward by the Council and partners to make Cardiff aneurodivergent-friendly city. The assessment will take place between the individual receiving the assessment and the workplace needs assessor, and will last approximately 2 hours.
If the initial screening identifies signs of a neurodiversity then the PSW team will consider whether to refer you to our external assessor for a full diagnostic assessment (see below). Our work focuses on children in vulnerable situations and the services that support them. We’re made a number of recommendations including doing further work to explore the development of a digital information gathering product to address key user and professional needs.
