This means that all CCS-eligible families will receive at least 72 hours per fortnight (3 days/week) of subsidised childcare regardless of their work, study, or volunteering status. Kindergarten is free for all three and four-year-old children living in Victoria. Integrated kindergarten programs offered within early learning centres are fee-paying but offset by the Victorian State Government’s free program.
