Taiwan 5-Day Tour 2023
Tokyo and Taipei are the best places for people who enjoy doing a lot of eating whilst overseas. You may well be asked to pose for photos with groups of locals. Can't understand why more people don't visit Taiwan. It is an extremely scenic country and easy to get to.
It seems this trip is established towards English speaking visitors to Taiwan. The time and logistics would be challenging if we tried to visit so many places by ourselves. All hotels 台東隱藏版伴手禮 we stayed are 4 to 5 stars with great breakfast buffet. The tour guide Alan Zhou is very knowledgeable, experienced and helpful. You just have to glance at a timetable etc and someone will ask to if you need help. This happened to us several times – every day – amazing people. Plenty of different foods around so no issue. The food outlets on the first floor at the Taipei rail station are great if your passing through. I don't remember thinking they were high. Hostels and hotels were inexpensive and quite good.
1) Is there anything you wish you skipped or wish you did (but didn't)? – I am not very experienced but the one other trip ive been on, i did a fair few things because those are the things you were "supposed to do" according to guidebooks, etc. Some where very underwhelming and overrated. Take into consideration that the odds double if travelling as a couple . A lot probably won't even know that they can register for the promotion, which means less competition.
I did not explore much of the township on my visit as I actually ran a lap of the lake, in the rain mostly, and was quite exhausted when I got back to the bus stop, but it looked nice enough. Mountains and epic scenery are all over the place and near public transport too. It pretty much depends on the weather when you're there. Also, the flowers are just beginning to bloom so people are best off waiting till later if they want to check out the sakuras. Went through a few days ago, they've got boxes of tests stacked near the doorway towards the immigration hall to self take .

Enjoy the peaceful countryside and coastline at parks, such as Xiaoyeliu Scenic Area and the accompanying rock-strewn beaches. Cycle around Taitung Forest Park and its three lakes or take a boat to Green Island for snorkelling and soaking in saltwater hot springs. You buy them for NT$100 and you can use a different machine to top them up. The top up machine isn't big on English but you should be able to work out how to top up your easycards. Easycards are really convenient for travelling on MRT and buses, including intercity buses and return). Most convenience stores (eg, 7-11) accept easy cards as payment. Carrefour hypermarket accepts easycard as payment. So does Maokong cable car.Many stores in foodcourts also accept the easycard including stores like Jason's in Taipei 101.
